Amici ("we", "our", or "us") is a social event planning app that helps you organize plans with friends. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what's necessary to make the app work.
Phone number: Used to create and verify your account. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties.
Display name: The name you choose to show on your profile and events.
Events you create or join: Event details (title, location, time, description) and your attendance status are stored to power your feed and planning features.
Friends list: The friends you add within the app, stored to show you their events and let you invite them to yours.
Push notification token: If you grant permission, we store a device token to send you notifications about events and invites. You can disable this in your device settings at any time.
Chat messages: Messages sent in event group chats are stored and visible to all attendees of that event.
We use your information solely to provide the Amici app experience:
• Show you events from friends
• Let you create, join, and manage events
• Send notifications about events and invites (with your permission)
• Allow friends to find you by phone number (if you enable discoverability)
• Improve the app based on usage patterns
We do not sell your personal information.
Your display name and attendance status are visible to other users who share events with you or attend the same events.
Your phone number is only used internally for account lookup and is never displayed publicly in full.
We use Supabase to store your data securely. Their privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
Your data is stored as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings tab in the app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
We may send push notifications for:
• Event reminders for events you've joined
• Invitations from friends
• Friend requests
You can disable notifications at any time in your device's notification settings or in the app under Settings → Notifications.
Amici is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
You have the right to:
• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Opt out of push notifications at any time

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
